Christopher W. Dysart Christopher W. DysartMr. Dysart is the principal of The Dysart Law Firm where he practices in the areas of plaintiff’s personal injury. Prior to opening his own office in the fall of 1997, Mr. Dysart had the following legal experience: He started his legal career as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Charles B. Blackmar, a Justice with the Missouri Supreme Court and former professor at St. Louis University School of Law. Mr. Dysart then went on to practice as a trial attorney for the Commercial Litigation Branch of the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. Mr. Dysart served as a Federal Prosecutor for the Southern District of Illinois. After leaving the government, Mr. Dysart practiced law at Armstrong, Teasdale, Schlafly & Davis, the third largest law firm in the State of Missouri, where he practiced in the areas of commercial litigation, personal injury defense and white collar criminal defense. His clients included fortune 500 companies. Mr. Dysart subsequently went into practice with Donald L. Schlapprizzi, one of the leading plaintiff’s personal injury attorneys in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Mr. Dysart represented a physician in the first Medicaid Fraud Prosecution to proceed to trial in the State of Missouri, which resulted in an acquittal. Mr. Dysart is the author of, "The permissible Scope Of Cross-examination of Expert Medical Witnesses", in the September-October 2000 volume of the Journal of the Missouri Bar and “An Accused’s Right to present a Meaningful Defense,” 1995 in the Complex Crimes Journal, American Bar Association Section of Litigation. Mr. Dysart attended St. Louis University School of Law where he was the Editor In Chief of the St. Louis University Public Law Review and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Procedure. |
